    This is not a beginner instructional video nor an advanced instructional video but rather, a new perspective for learning to throw the javelin.

    Coach Halley begins with the grip, an area of the throw that is so important but rarely explained. Coach Halley goes on to build the throw from posture through a 5 step. Through each stage of the throw, drills are introduced and common mistakes are identified. In addition to technical instruction, bonus exercises are included at the end to send you off to the field with a better understanding of the throw and activities to adopt in your journey to be a more efficient javelin thrower.
